WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congresswoman Erin Houchin (R-Ind.-09) released the following statement on the vote to elect the Speaker of the House for the 118th Congress.

 

“The American people elected a Republican House majority to put a check on Washington’s reckless spending and the Biden Administration’s big government agenda. I’m encouraged our conference united around what’s best for our country and together elected Speaker McCarthy to get things done for Hoosiers at home.
