As a mom to a son with Dyslexia and Education and Workforce committee member, Congresswoman Houchin introduces new bill to modernize Dyslexia identification to avoid the chance of the learning disability going unidentified in students.

“My top priority was to visit every county in the Ninth District during my first August work period. During the 18-county tour, we heard from educational institutions, business owners, employees, first responders, farmers, local leaders and community members from Lawrence to Dearborn County and every place in between about how we can be most helpful in our service in Congress," – Congresswoman Houchin.

Congresswoman Houchin introduces the Regulation A+ Improvement Act to expand investment options for Americans across the country and support the growth of small to mid-size businesses.

Congresswoman Houchin passes the Parents Bill of Rights Act to improve transparency inside the classroom. The bill includes her amendment to require parents are notified when their student is not reading at a grade-level proficiency by the end of the third grade.
