These funds represent money owed back to individuals across Indiana’s Ninth District from federal agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Social Security Administration, IRS, and others.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Erin Houchin (IN-09) introduced the Data Broadband Reporting and Integration for Deployment in Geographically Essential Areas (Data BRIDGE) Act, a bipartisan bill to ensure rural and agricultural lands are accurately reflected on the FCC’s National Broadband Map. By incorporating the USDA’s cultivated land data into the map, the bill will help direct federal broadband funding to the fields, pastures, and production areas that need it most.

This bill prohibits the Department of Education from allowing illegal immigrants to access a collection of taxpayer-funded college preparatory programs—the TRIO programs—intended for low-income Americans.
