SALEM, IN — U.S. Representative Erin Houchin (IN-09) is seeking a veteran to serve in her Salem district office through the U.S. House of Representatives Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program. This is a paid, full-time position.

The selected aide will work directly with military and veteran constituents, assist with veterans-related casework, and serve as a liaison between constituents and federal, state, and local agencies to help ensure they receive the benefits and services they have earned.

The legislation strengthens election integrity by requiring proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections and a valid photo ID to cast a ballot. Representative Erin Houchin (IN-9) is a cosponsor of the bill.
